The World Show operates on a two-year owner bred young birds basis; so that only 2017 and 2018 owner bred closed rung birds can be accepted at the show.

All fanciers who are members of any of the affiliated societies in either the IOA or NCA  through COM-UK (This includes the British Bird Council) are entitled to exhibit at this show as long as the birds are closed rung with the exhibitor’s ID coded ring.

This event attracts a large entry and in 2018 the entry was 32,061 from 4,002 exhibitors representing 28 countries.

Apart from the large number of birds on display there are many sales stands for fanciers to buy an array of goods as well as birds.

The UK entry is taken by experienced conveyors who transport the U.K. team of birds to and from the show.

Entries have to sent to the COM-UK Show Co-ordinator Simon Tammam (396 Ashley Road, Poole, Dorset BH14 0AA. Tel: 01202 730221
